The police have already once looked into the sale by Cunek, who is also local development minister, senator and Christian Democrat (KDU-CSL) chairman, but the state attorney's office halted the prosecution.

Jehlicka says it ensues from the conclusions by state attorney Arif Salichov, who definitively halted Cunek's prosecution, that Cunek sold the 51 percent stake of Vsetinske byty company for only 3,618,000 crowns, while the market price was according to Salichov's document 6,773,784 crowns.
Cunek sold the stake in 2002 when he was mayor of Vsetin.
Cunek was last year prosecuted on suspicion of having taken a half a million crown bribe from H&B Real in February 2002 when he was Vsetin mayor.
Salichov halted Cunek's prosecution for a second time last November.
