Four people have been shot dead at an ice cream parlour in the western German town of Rüsselsheim, near Frankfurt.

Police arrest one of Italy's most-wanted mafia fugitives ... Officers launched a massive manhunt for the killers with aid dogs and helicopters. Information as to the identities or nationalities of the victims has yet to be released. The motives for the killings were unclear. Police added that there was no indication the shooting was linked to organized crime. Nearly a year ago, six people were shot to death in the town of Duisburg in a shooting blamed on an Italian crime clan.
