Bush is among a host of world leaders who are gathering in Beijing ahead of the start of the Olympic Games. More than 80 heads of state and government, and royals are expected to attend the opening ceremony of the Beijing Games on Friday. Bush arrived on Thursday night amid tensions over his high-profile declaration in Thailand that it's time for the growing world power to grant more freedom to its people. Prior to Bush's arrival, the Chinese foreign ministry released a statement saying no one should interfere with China's internal affairs.
