The extradition was approved by the Prague City Court last Monday. The man, aged 21, spent in the Czech Republic the last two years.
The police say he committed 16 child sex abuse cases for which he faces up to life sentence in Britain, if convicted. The man allegedly committed the crimes in Britain in 2003-2006. The handcuffed man was passed to two British plainclothes police officers at the airport this morning. He will be flown to London by a regular flight. Prague City Court spokesman Petr Kulawiak said the British authorities accused him of having sexually attacked two girls, aged 12 and 13 years. CzechRep to again send a reserve company to Kosovo ... old girls whom he promised car drives during which he raped them. He is also suspected of making and possessing child pornography and other criminal offences. The Irishman pleads not-guilty, but he was not opposed to the extradition as he would like to prove he was innocent. The perpetrator was caught in cooperation with Interpol in mid-July on the basis of a European arrest warrant. He allegedly stayed in the Czech Republic for two years and was just preparing to leave the country. According to the police he lived in a rented flat in Prague, was inconspicuous and he almost did not leave the house. The man did not allegedly commit any crime in the Czech Republic.
