Reports from Mogadishu say a roadside bomb has killed at least 20 civilians.
Witnesses say the victims were mostly women involved in a community street-cleaning project. A further 45 people were injured. There's been no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing. Peace efforts in Somalia hit a further obstacle on Saturday when two thirds of the country's interim cabinet resigned. The 10 ex-ministers were allies of President Abdullah Yusuf who has been at odds with Prime Minister Nur Hassan Hussein over the recent sacking of Mogadishu's mayor.
