Pakistan has denied allegations that its spies helped bomb the Indian embassy in Afghanistan, and there have been renewed border tensions over Kashmir. Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his Pakistani counterpart Yousuf Raza Gilani have met separately on the sidelines of the summit to discuss the strained peace process between the two countries. The discussions, the first between the two premiers, was the highest-level meeting of the nuclear-armed neighbours in 15 months.
