The German armed forces, the Bundeswehr, have reportedly uncovered a huge cache of weapons in Afghanistan.
Germany's Der Spiegel news magazine reports that more than 1,100 mortars, rocket propelled grenades and detonators have been found. The secret weapons depot was located about 120 km west of the Bundeswehr's field camp in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif. Germany's elite commando unit KSK was involved in the operation.
