made to lift internet censorship for the Olympics. He also appealed to keep politics out of the Olympics. The comments come in the wake of a row over this week's revelations that the International Olympic Committee cut a deal with Chinese officials to limit journalist's access to certain websites which Beijing deems sensitive. On Friday the IOC said the issue was resolved and that access would be unrestricted. China regularly blocks domestic access to certain sites including those of rights groups, some media organisations and the banned spiritual movement Falun Gong.
